Hollywood
Serving as the "Main Street" of the park, this is an area dedicated to movie making and the glamour of Hollywood. Here is where guests can experience the City of Stars like never before, and even get a nice glimpse of the lagoon.
When going through the gates, guests will walk down the Avenue of the Stars. On both sides are shops and restaurants, as well as Studio Hall, which is found on the left side towards the park's entrance and gives help and services to customers. To the right is the park's largest gift shop, the Universal Studios Store. Going down the road, guests will find the Darkroom, Studio Snacks, Blockbuster Cafe, and Glitz and Glamour to the right and Hollywood Extras, Animation Station, and Mel's Drive-In to the right. At the end of the road near a lagoon viewing area is where guests can see a statue commemorating Universal's film history. It features a scene with the Minions, Woody Woodpecker, and Frankenstein's Monster, and it is filmed by the Universal Founders.
At the end of the road, guests must make a choice on which way to go. They can turn left and go to Box Office Snacks and the theater where the WaterWorld stunt show plays, leading into Minion Land, or they can go right past a stage where musical acts play. Near the border with the Isle of Berk is a recreation of the Pantages Theater, similar to the recreation in Orlando that houses the Horror Make-Up show. This theater, however, is home to a dark ride similar to Disney's former Great Movie Ride attraction called A Journey Through the Movies. This is a dark ride that travels around scenes from films like Jaws, E.T., King Kong, Jurassic Park, and even some non-Universal films like Top Gun and Harry Potter.

This was a simple area to make. I really wasn't looking for too much, just a main street area to have people come in through. However, I wanted to pay tribute to Universal as a movie making company so I had the statue, stunt show, and the ride through the movies.
